Congratulations to 1st Block! They earned a pizza party for making good choices in class on a daily basis. They should be very proud of themselves.
In Math I (2nd Block), we have completed Unit 1on functions and begun Unit 2 on radical expressions and polynomials. Any missing work from Unit 1 should already be turned in. Students should try to keep up with assignments on a daily basis to help them learn each standard. Students who did not do well on the Unit 1 test should sign up for remediation in Glad Time or get help before or after school. After they have been helped, they may retake the test to show that they have mastered the content. Although it is a long weekend, Math I students do have a short assignment that they should complete before Wednesday morning.
In Math I and Math I Support (1st & 3rd Block), we had our first Unit test on Thursday. If students are not satisfied with their grades, they may get help during Glad Time or before/after school and retake the test. This should be done in a timely manner. We will continue learning the rest of the standards from the first unit. Students should make sure to complete any missing assignments by next Friday.
