First 4 1/2 weeks of High School completed

A quick update for Math I. We have finished our first 4 1/2 weeks of school and students will be receiving progress reports on Thursday.  Please take a few moments to look over and discuss each grade with your student.  These progress reports reflect what students have already done but is not a permanent grade.  If they are not doing well in a class, there is certainly time for students to turn their grades around, but they should act quickly.

It is important that students come prepared to class daily. This includes a pencil, paper, notebook and their textbooks.  Their notebook should be organized (Vocabulary, Notes/Classwork, Homework, Quizzes/Projects, and Big 10. Please encourage them to put their notebook in order if it's not already.

Also, remember to check my blog often.  I will keep it updated with daily homework, organization tips and upcoming tests and projects.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I want to partner with you and your student to make sure their first semester & year of high school is a success!
